Apparently all packages were successfully downloaded and updated but no way to get Google apps appearing in the iBar. I can add whatever other application to the iBar but in the Add Application menu option -> Categories I do not see anything about Google. I will really appreciate your help Thanks so much

Hi there,
I’ve followed your instructions to install greenos-desktop in my kubuntu 7.10 pc and my edubuntu 7.10 laptop and in none of them I’ve got Google icons in the iBar.
Apparently all packages were successfully downloaded and updated but no way to get Google apps appearing in the iBar.
I can add whatever other application to the iBar but in the Add Application menu option -> Categories I do not see anything about Google.
I will really appreciate your help
Thanks so much

By: Saeid

@ Ben:Hi ben, I fixed it. use this: sudo dpkg-reconfigure gdmThanks for report. I turned my machine OFF, and when I turned it ON again, I got NOT the ubuntu login screen from which onthe bottom left of the creeen you can choose "englightment" (and so gOS) as your desktop environment, but directly a green gOS login page. From there, it go even weirder, as I logged in with my ubuntu username and pw and was... sent back to my ubuntu OS and gnome environment. Thanks a lot if you can help in any way, and best of greetings from Italy ! :-)

Hi Saeid,

your instructions seem really simple to follow… but I ended up with weird and even frightening results. Need advice. There is no one else to ask. My credit is bad (very bad) and I am eager to apply for a card. And I have found two variants for me at one website: secured credit cards and unsecured cards for bad credit. I’d like to make the right choice therefore I am searching for advice or experience. And hope that you answer me as soon as possible.discover credit card.conNe72Ma9rod

Hi!
